We are a Finnish hard rock band, with long and honorable history, We are AncarA
This fall 2015, only with a little help from Sherpas and Yaks, We are going to trek 14 days in Nepal, to play the worlds highest rock concert, we will be the first in the world to play a Hard Rock gig in a base camp of the world`s tallest mountain Mount Everest at a height of 5364 meter altitude.

Established in 1996, Ancara is a Finnish alternative hard rock band that sings in English. The band has been working on their latest album in Hollywood since January in collaboration with producer Jimmy Westerlund. To be released next spring, the album’s title Wake Up reflects the band’s emergence following a lengthy break from the music scene. The band has previously released three studio albums and a handful of singles. In 2008 their single The World climbed to the top 10 official sales chart in Finland and the album Beyond The Dark was no 9 on the charts.

10% from all the funds collected via Mesenaatti will be given to bring back extra litter from the Mount Everest, including rubbish from past expeditions, oxygen cylinder and human waste. 90% of Funds will be used to sponsor AncarA band on the way to attempt to play at the words highest mountain Mount Everest base camp at a height of 5364 meter altitude.
