MISA CRIOLLA – 50th anniversary!<\/h1>\n

The year 2015 marks Misa Criolla\u2019s jubilee (a mass merging various genres of Latin American folk music). 50 years ago, two pioneers works, Misa Criolla by Ariel Ram\u00edrez and Misa a la Chilena by Vicente Bianchi, had their world premieres. Four years later Chabuca Granda premiered her Misa Criolla de Bodas on the occasion of her daughter\u2019s wedding; and Misa Campesina Nicarag\u00fcense by Carlos Mej\u00eda Godoy celebrates its 40th anniversary this year too.<\/p>\n

All these compositions emerged in the aftermath of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council (1962-1965) that induced a renovation of the genre by combining liturgy and folklore. SININEN TULI is pleased to offer a Finnish audience the opportunity to listen live to those compositions, some performed for the first time in Finland, as a token of Latin American cultural rich diversity.<\/p>\n

A Latin American religious and folk music megaconcert conveying a universal message brought to you by a large cast of singers and musicians on a dream stage. The space of the Temple in the Rock not only offers a perfect adequacy between forms and contents it is also an important venue for Finnish music activity. The program includes some pieces that will be heard in Finland live for the first time.<\/p>\n

The project is organized by SININEN TULI (Blue Fire): Finnish singer-violinist Sanna Mansikkaniemi and Peruvian guitarist Camilo Pajuelo duo. Both will perform together with Grupo Ond\u00fa, Prima Vista Choir conducted by Heikki Ruokonen, International Vocal Ensemble and other guest musicians. We are an independent group of artists fond of Latin American music and culture. The money collected will be used to pay fees for the artists and to other expenses induced by the production of the event. Through Mesenaatti we encourage you to buy beforehand our program booklet. This will provide you with a booking for the first rows of the main hall. Likewise those supporters who bought advertising space in the program booklet will also be granted preferential seats. Arts Promotion Centre Finland and T\u00f6\u00f6l\u00f6 Parish (Helsinki) have already supported this large project. Cuatro misas criollas para festejar la diversidad cultural de Latinoam\u00e9rica a trav\u00e9s de su m\u00fasica en el Templo en la Roca (Temppeliaukio) de Helsinki, el 30 de octubre de 2015 a las 7 de la tarde. \u00a1\u00danete a la celebraci\u00f3n de este megaconcierto y contribuye a su realizaci\u00f3n!<\/strong><\/p>\n

MISA CRIOLLA \u2013 \u00a150 ANIVERSARIO!<\/h2>\n

En 2015 se celebra el jubileo de la Misa Criolla. Hace 50 a\u00f1os se estrenaron dos obras pioneras de este tipo de composici\u00f3n: la Misa Criolla del argentino Ariel Ram\u00edrez y la Misa a la Chilena del maestro Vicente Bianchi. Cuatro a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, Chabuca Granda estrena su Misa Criolla de Bodas para celebrar el matrimonio de su hija, y en 1975, hace 40 a\u00f1os, Carlos Mej\u00eda Godoy escribe la Misa Campesina Nicarag\u00fcense.<\/p>\n

Estas obras surgen en las postrimer\u00edas del Concilio ecum\u00e9nico Vaticano II (1962-1965), al permitir \u00e9ste una renovaci\u00f3n del g\u00e9nero mediante la fusi\u00f3n de liturgia y folclor. SININEN TULI tiene el agrado de ofrecer al p\u00fablico de Finlandia la oportunidad de escuchar estas composiciones en vivo, algunas por primera vez, como muestra de la riqueza cultural de Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n
